Chisel Jersey Cider Juice
A Devon Bittersweet Built for the Blend, Pressed and Ready
Chisel Jersey is one of the great Devon cider apples — a late-season bittersweet that produces a juice of exceptional richness and depth. Very high in tannin and low in acidity, it's the kind of variety that anchors a blend and gives it structure, body, and that unmistakable West Country weight. It doesn't shout; it holds everything together and makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. In a single varietal, that same depth comes through as a full, warming cider of real character.
Pressed at The Orchard Point Prim and immediately quick frozen in 10L aseptic tetra-bags, every bag captures the variety at its peak. Our test batches confirm the juice can be used up to 12 months after its press date with no degradation in flavour — ferment it now or hold it until your next batch is ready.
