Dabinett Scionwood
Graft the Cidermaker's Reliable Classic
Dabinett is one of the most dependable and widely grown cider apple varieties in the UK — and for good reason. This Somerset bittersweet is prized for its consistent cropping, its ease of growing, and a juice that delivers genuine West Country character without demanding perfection from the grower. Rich in tannin, low in acidity, and reliably high in sugar, it ferments into a smooth, full-bodied cider with that classic mellow warmth that defines the best of the English tradition.
We offer Dabinett as scionwood — freshly cut grafting wood from our own trees here at The Orchard Point Prim on Prince Edward Island. Each stick is approximately 4 inches long with a minimum of 3 healthy buds, ready to graft onto your rootstock of choice.
