Kingston Black Scionwood
Graft the Most Coveted Cider Apple in the World
Kingston Black needs no introduction. Widely regarded as the finest cider apple ever grown, it produces a juice of extraordinary complexity — a true bittersharp with deep, wine-like tannins, bright acidity, and a richness that few varieties can match. It's notoriously difficult to grow and yields can be unpredictable, but for cidermakers who want the best, there is no substitute. A single-varietal Kingston Black cider is a benchmark; in a blend, it elevates everything around it.
We offer Kingston Black as scionwood — freshly cut grafting wood from our own trees here at The Orchard Point Prim on Prince Edward Island. Each stick is approximately 4 inches long with a minimum of 3 healthy buds, ready to graft onto your rootstock of choice.
