Michelin Scionwood
Graft the Workhorse of the West Country
Michelin is one of the most widely planted cider apple varieties in the world — and for good reason. This reliable bittersweet produces abundant crops of medium-sized, yellow-green fruit with a juice that's mild in tannin, low in acidity, and high in sugar. It's the backbone of countless commercial and farmhouse blends, valued for its consistency, its generous yields, and the soft, approachable character it brings to the press.
We offer Michelin as scionwood — freshly cut grafting wood from our own trees here at The Orchard Point Prim on Prince Edward Island. Each stick is approximately 4 inches long with a minimum of 3 healthy buds, ready to graft onto your rootstock of choice.
